Will these parish officials resign?

WHAT can I say? Double standards comes to mind. I refer to the letters from Cllr Jordan and Cllr Wright, who both claim their hands are tied because of legislation over planning matters in the council chamber.

What they have failed to say is they are both parish councillors and will discuss planning matters at parish council meetings, along with deputy leader of Swale Council Cllr Gerry Lewin, whom I have witnessed airing his views on planning matters at Upchurch parish council.

Can I expect to hear of these councillors tending their resignations from their parish councils?

The replies should be interesting, to say the least.
