We need to make ourselves heard

27 Sep 2006

CONGRATULATIONS for printing letters about the proposals for the science park and associated housing. The letters were all fair and properly illustrated why the proposals should be rejected.

Mr Shilling's letter from Guernsey in particular clearly explained how important it was for people throughout Swale and to make their objections heard by any means legally possible. Cllr Bowles also reported that it was "what the voters and residents of Swale want" that will ultimately decide our future.

Now is the time to register our objections by, I suggest, signing a petition. I look to the Five Parish Opposition Group to arrange this. They know we are all prepared to help, if asked.
