There's no reason to lose more land

THERE is no excuse for more green field development in Sittingbourne with all the other land available.

Indeed, reading your newspaper we learn we may soon have the heart of the town, the paper mill, empty. And will that site be derelict for a decade? Andrew Bull, representing LaSalle Investment Management and Kent Science Park, certainly has the right name.

Your newspaper has scored a scoop, however. I was — and am sure others were — completely unaware of the Government's intention to stop people taking their cars to work.

I certainly don't recall seeing it in the national press. Take a bow, East Kent Gazette!
