New road would destroy county

I should like to thank the MP Derek Wyatt for his attack on the council for a new link to the M2. Why is this council so determined to destroy the original magical county around Sittingbourne?

Id it completely unable to see its beauty and recognise its importance to the people of Sittingbourne and others?
