Water main pegged out

After a week of trying to get an answer on this matter, we can now confirm that the work is indeed a new water main. Southern Water are installing a new water main from Cromer's Wood to East Hall Farm.

Initially phone calls to Swale Borough Council, KCC and Southern Water all proved fruitless, no one apparently knew a thing about these mysterious pegs . It was only after Councillor Monique Bonney put further pressure on the planning department at Swale Borough Council that they finally remembered that they did know after all and have done since 10th January.

Swale Borough Council have given their consent to the project and do not consider that it will cause any adverse environmental impact even with the pipeline crossing into cromers wood which is a designated site of conservation importance.
