Failure to attract new tenants put down to access issues.
18 Dec 2011
Swale Borough Council has reported that it is their understanding that the Kent Science Park’s failure to enact on previously agreed planning applications is due to the lack of access. With the tenant base of the Kent Science Park at an all-time low since Jones Lang LaSalle began managing the park, and the passing of three years since the announced five year programme of investment worth £25 million, it is starting to look like LaSalle has pulled the plug due to lack of demand.
The beginning of next year will see the first of these applications expire and it will be interesting to see whether they bother to renew the applications.
