Election victory for Monique Bonney

Independent candidate Monique Bonney wins by clear majority, ousting Don Jordan the conservative councillor for that last 20 years.

Interestingly the two wards with the best turn outs were both in the five parishes, with Woodstock at 44.79% turn out and West Downs with 43.99%

Overall the conservatives faired worst losing 4 seats and gaining two from the liberals. Labour lost one and gained one. The clear victors of this election were the other parties with 4 additional independent seats.
