Consultation backfires as opposition grows

The current consultation by the Kent Science Park appears to have backfired as people from all over Sittingbourne go up in arms over the proposals.

Andy Hudson, Chairman of the Five Parish Opposition Group says

“You know when the Science Park is putting on a road show because my phone doesn’t stop ringing and I’m swamped with emails wanting to know how they can object to the scheme”.

“It’s been very interesting that people from all over Sittingbourne have taken offence with the proposals, even we didn’t expect that. However it’s good to know that the wider population in Sittingbourne have realised just how much it will impact them too.” 

“While we are not happy with the heavily weighted questionnaire, we still would encourage people to complete it.”
