Judging by comments made by Andrew Bowles leader of Swale Council and Gordon Henderson conservative spokesman their favoured route for an A2/M2 link would be through Lynsted.

New KSP planning applicationThe Kent Science Park has just applied for a change of use on one building away from ‘Scientific and Development Purposes’ to ‘Non-residential education and training centres’.
The building originally destined for 40 small start companies will now provide training facilities just 15 students.

The Five Parishes Opposition Group claimed a huge victory today when hundreds of residents from all over Swale took to the streets to join their protest march against the proposals put forward by the Kent Science Park which would see hundreds are acres of countryside needlessly destroyed.

A group dedicated to saving some of north Kent’s finest countryside will take to the streets of Sittingbourne this Saturday (3 March).
The Five Parishes Opposition Group, which is fighting plans to expand the Kent Science Park, will march through the town centre from 10 am before delivering a petition to Swale Borough Council leader Andrew Bowles.
