KSP selects Bapchild for enhancement

Robert Rummey managing director of Rummey Design Associates explained at last evenings meeting that Bapchild has been selected for enhancement. This includes 5,000 houses a new secondary school and four new primary schools.

Meeting with Swale Borough Council

After four months of requests to meet with Swale Council, Andrew Bowles has finally agreed to sit down and discuss the local plan and in particular the reasoning behind their public support of the KSP expansion proposals, with the representatives of the 5 parishes on Tuesday 7th September.

We have recently heard from Simon Reynolds, the Project Director of the Kent Science Park, to inform us of an opportunity to go and view their plans for the expansion of the park, the southern relief road and housing etc.

Local plan meeting

Over one hundred villagers from Milstead, Bredgar, Bapchild and Rodmersham turned up at Rodmersham Village Hall this morning to fill in their Local Plan forms.

Rodmersham meeting on southern relief road

The meeting held by Rodmersham parish council to discuss the proposed Southern distributor road and associated housing was, as expected, very well attended to the extent that people had to stand in the entrance hall and kitchen just to get in.
